So you may wonder how I am qualified to talk about peace, love and joy. Well...at 34 I´ve been through a lot of experiences; enough for several lifetimes. Lots of them would be considered bad experiences; but to me they were all learning experiences. I feel you cannot truly appreciate the good without the bad. Having said that, some of the things I have experienced are: physical abuse, mental abuse, sexual abuse, my mother died of cancer, my best friend ran off with my husband, lost my job, been evicted, crashed my cars, and I've been homeless. No, none of these were a result of drug or alcohol use; I never got into drugs and I hardly ever drink.
I know, sounds unreal, like a soap opera. Life goes. I haven´t included all the wonderful things that have happened in my life though. And I´m not saying poor me. I´m sure many have been through worse. Let me just tell you I have either peace, love or joy in my heart about 90 percent of the time. It´s a conscious choice to feel the way I do, I could go either way, but why hurt myself any more than I already have been. I choose love and laughter :) You can too. One of the ways I have chosen to live is doing what ever makes me happy as long as it doesn´t hurt anyone else. For example, see my new toy — digital camera
