How do you love

How do you love? Love... all you need is love ;) Well... not really, you need more than JUST love. After all, life is all about balance ;) But everyone wants to BE loved. To feel special and important and appreciated. There are many different kinds of love. You feel different kinds of love for different people in your life. The kind of love I´m talking about though is kind of like the kind of love we feel for our best friends... let´s call it love spelled L-U-V to distinguish it from other kinds of love. I think it´s pretty close to a perfect love. We have established trust with our best friends over time. We share a lot of the same views with them; and we realize at the same time that they don´t think exactly the way we do about everything... and that´s okay. Kinda like an unconditional love.

If we all treated each other like we treat our best friends, life would be a better... more loving place. I believe people are basically good, they may be selfish at times, and therefore do bad things. But if we realize that people are basically good and loving, and try to trust that they are trying... well... It´s been my experience that people react to you how you react to them. We are all human after all, and we all make mistakes. Hopefully we can all try to "luv" one another and treat everyone like we would our best friends. The words below came to me one morning after a night of very pleasant dreams. I hope they inspire you the way they inspired me.

I envision a world where people come together in harmony.
Where love spelled L-U-V is the love of friendship for all.
Where we treat everyone the way we would treat our best friends.
Where "luv" truly is the answer. Where everyone is enough, just by themselves.
Where we all accept that it´s okay to be human, and that´s all right.
A world where the news celebrates our greatest joys.
Where thanksgiving - the giving of thanks for all our blessings - is enjoyed daily.
Where hugs and smiles are given freely.
Where strangers are friends we just haven´t met yet.
Where positive reinforcement is nurtured in schools.
And where words of encouragement and praise fall freely from our lips.
Where we really stop and smell the roses - truly living in the moment.
Where everyone can laugh at all jokes - because we realize we are all one and the same.
A world filled with peace love and joy.
I envision a world where luv truly IS the answer.

Life is a delicate balancing act, the closer we are to balance in our lives, the closer we will be to achieving peace, love and joy in our lives.
