LOS ANGELES, CA (1/05/09) -- January 8th is National JoyGerm Day - a day devoted to spreading joy. Katrina Thomas, Founder of LuvIsTheAnswer.org, a site dedicated to peace, love and joy (with a heavy focus on joy) has this to say about JoyGerm Day:
"JoyGerms are absolutely contagious, you can catch them just as well as you can give them to people. You can become unofficially but affectionately infected and spread them by way of the Internet. One really great way to become infected is by reading message boards on gratitude and thankfulness like the one on LuvIsTheAnswer. It helps you see what other people are thankful for and helps you realize the abundance of joy in your own life, so that you too may want to spread your joy by letting other people know what you are thankful and grateful for as well."
Katrina goes on to say:
"Also this month happens to be Holiday Thank You month which brings to mind another way of spreading JoyGerms which is sending wonderful online thank you cards to anyone you wish to infect with joy. Any cards will work online or offline but a quick and free solution can be found at LuvIsTheAnswer.org where there are over 12,000 free cards for almost any reason you can think of. Life is really a balance and joy is a big part of that."

Katrina Thomas (formerly Katrina Wikoff) started LuvIsTheAnswer.com in 2004 and because of financial reasons had to let it go. The domain name LuvIsTheAnswer.com was bought before she could renew it and so she started fresh with LuvIsTheAnswer.org. Wanting to turn it into a non profit corporation anyway she was happy to change it from .com to .org. LuvIsTheAnswer.org can be found in all major search engines.

A Message to All for Peace Friendship and Good Will Week from LuvIsTheAnswer.org
LOS ANGELES, CA -- LuvIsTheAnswer.org, a website started by Katrina Thomas, has an inspiring message to the world for Peace Friendship and Good Will Week. Peace Friendship and Good Will Week runs from October 25 - 31 every year, and was started by The International Society of Friendship and Good Will. When asked why she started her site, she kids, "I originally started my site to bring more peace, love and joy to the huddled masses." All kidding aside her message is a very positive one for all.
Here is her message for Peace Friendship and Good Will Week:
I envision a world where people come together in harmony.
Where love spelled L-U-V is the love of friendship for all.
Where we treat everyone the way we would treat our best friends.
Where "luv" truly is the answer. Where everyone is enough, just by themselves.
Where we all accept that it´s okay to be human, and that´s all right.
A world where the news celebrates our greatest joys.
Where thanksgiving - the giving of thanks for all our blessings - is enjoyed daily.
Where hugs and smiles are given freely.
Where strangers are friends we just haven´t met yet.
Where positive reinforcement is nurtured in schools.
And where words of encouragement and praise fall freely from our lips.
Where we really stop and smell the roses - truly living in the moment.
Where everyone can laugh at all jokes - because we realize we are all one and the same.
A world filled with peace, love and joy.
